In 2021, I had received items from my grandparents once they had passed away. It was a matching set of end tables with 4 drawers included in each. They are solid wood and heavy for the average person. The original color was a plain light wood-stained color that didn’t really appeal to me. Each drawer had gold handles attached to the front of them. This project had an extremely sentimental value to it that I still keep with me in my house to this day. I thought of the name Refresh and Renew as a way to repreent this passion. Required items for this project included:

I removed all the hardware and spray painted it matte black. From there, I sanded the stain on the furniture down to bare wood in order to give it a blank layer. I chose a plain white color to provide a simple modern look that could fit into any environment. Once the first layer of white was completed and dried, I had applied an additional coat in order to solidify the coloring. I let these dry for a couple days in my parents’ barn. I reattached the hardware and put the drawers back in. These are my own personal photos of the before and after photos of them:
